ALS courses in Bega and the Sapphire Coast

EMRT runs Resuscitation Australia accredited ALS1, ALS2 and ALS2 Recertification courses in Bega for nurses, doctors, specialists and paramedics across the Bega Valley and Sapphire Coast. Complete the eLearning and quizzes at home, then join a small group for hands on simulation training and assessment, close to home.

Which course do you need?

ALS1

For nurses, doctors, specialists and paramedics who need to recognise and manage the deteriorating patient and work as an effective member of the cardiac arrest team. A common requirement for clinical roles and placements.

ALS2

For clinicians who lead cardiac arrest situations until advanced support arrives. Adds team leadership and special circumstances, including causes of arrest in perioperative and post surgical settings.

ALS2 Recertification

For practitioners who already hold ALS2 and need to renew their credential.

How the course works

  • Self paced eLearning in bite sized modules, done at home before the day

  • Face to face training in Bega in small groups of up to 6, with simulated scenarios tailored to your role

  • Continuous assessment across the eLearning and the training day

  • A digital ALS credential valid for 4 years, with eLearning access the whole time for refreshers

  • CPD time you can claim
